Spent a few days at Scotts Head Holiday Park which is near

to joining the Army after High School. On this trip we
located the old Ambulance Station which was the family home
for many years. It was through it had been demolished.
Also had a look at the Frank Partridge VC Military Museum

No powered sites available so it was a good test of the new
batteries system, which worked well. 120A AGM battery
in the Caravan, 80A AGM battery in the tray of the Narava
for the Waeco, managed by the new Dual Battery Isolator under the
Narava bonnet. |

EPIC Canberra. We checked out the original Long Tan
Cross on loan to the AWM from the Vietnamese. After a
bit of shopping, arrived back at the caravan to find new
neighbours, that were friends from our Army days. It
was great catching up with Bruce and Robyn Watts. |

17/21 Feb 2013
Eden Tourist Park. Arrive after a easy trip down
from Cooma which including coming off the Great Dividing
Range at Brown Mountain, after a stop at Pipers Lookout.
Tourist Park is one of the best we have stay at! Lake
Curaio on one side and Twofold Bay on the other side, with
big grassy caravan sites - easy to see why all the
Victorians are holidaying in the Park and Eden. First thing
we notice was Eden area was put on the map by the explorer
Lt Matthew Flinders (Like the homebase, the Glass House
Mountains). That guy sure got around! First
day had a drive around and visited the old Davidson Whaling
Station. |

Zane Grey Tourist Park, Bermagui. Arrived a day early
for a washing day and I was instructed to not get 'found'
until all the work is completed -
Help please find me troops!
Troops are arriving and the girls are on holidays at the
Bermagui kennel for a few days.
Our lovely little girls found chook poo to roll in before
going so had to have a bath first!
Great few days with some special guys and their ladies.
Bob Shearing and his wife Di did us proud. See you all
again in Gundagai, April 2015.
M & M survived the kennel and were pleased to be home in the
caravan. Time to hit the road again! |
